The weekly check-in is a place for us to give updates about where we are in our cycles so that we can keep track of everyone and cheer them on. If you would like to be added, please respond here or send me a PM with the following information and I will add you to the list. Good luck everyone! I hope I get to add a ton of success stories very soon ![]()
1) what is your name (if you want to share)
2) how many cycles or months/years you have been TTC
3) what is your diagnosis if you have one
4) what tests or treatments you are having done
5) where you are in your cycle/treatment plan and what's coming up next
Well, I'm a bit of an idiot - I have the list for the check-in saved at home and I'm at work
So I'll edit later this afternoon/evening to add it. Sorry about that! I condensed down what you all posted last week in the name of saving space so please let me know if I have anything wrong or if you want anything added. I'm also going to repost each Monday evening for the girls that aren't on during the day.
Post your updates here and let us know how everything is going.
Question of the week: What is your favorite book?
Edited to say if you responded last week, you don't need to answer all the questions again - just let us know where you currently are ![]()
Re: Weekly 3T Check-in - Edited
1) what is your name (if you want to share) Marielle
2) how many cycles or months/years you have been TTC Moving onto my 17th month
3) what is your diagnosis if you have one PCOS
4) what tests or treatments you are having done All tests minus a lap. I've done 2 Clomid + TI cycles and so far 3 medicated IUI's all BFN
5) where you are in your cycle/treatment plan and what's coming up next I'm not exactly sure yet. I think I'm going on to IUI #4. I'm getting AF now so I'll probably see the RE for next steps on Wednesday morning (CD3). Maybe she'll increase the Follistim dosage this time.
ETA: My favorite book is The Time Traveler's Wife
FET to TTC #2: 9/29/14 Beta on 10/8/14 = BFP!
DS #1 Born 1/3/11 after IVF #1
4 failed IUIs, including 1 CP
PCOS
TTC since 2008
My update is that we are taking a break this cycle for me to have my gall bladder removed (date unknown as of today, but should know soon). I'm hoping it will only have to be one cycle but who knows. We also need to evaluate our finances because we have to pay the federal govt some money for our taxes so we may not even be able to do another IUI for awhile since we are OOP. Hoepfully I will get this new job and my insurance will be better and it will cover the IUI's.
I cant really say I have one favorite book, but here are a few: Memoirs of a Geisha, the Twilight series, the Sookie Stackhouse series, and I'm about halfway through Outlander and I like it so far.
1) what is your name (if you want to share) Sail (sorry, I'm afraid of lurkers)
2) how many cycles or months/years you have been TTC Too long, I don't like to think about it...over a year.
3) what is your diagnosis if you have one Not really clear. Some kind of ovulation issue, possible LPD.
4) what tests or treatments you are having done I'm on a forced break after 3 failed clomid/IUI/ovidrel cycles but I'm doing acu. I have had some issues with high blood pressure but my at home monitoring is showing that it is much lower than it is at the doctor's office.
5) where you are in your cycle/treatment plan and what's coming up next I'm on CD3. I'm going to have one more unmedicated cycle and then hopefully will start an injectible IUI next cycle (if, of course, this cycle doesn't work).
1) what is your name (if you want to share) Lina (wow... thought you wouldn't guess huh?)
2) how many cycles or months/years you have been TTC: almost 2 years (since April 2008)
3) what is your diagnosis if you have one: Unexplained IF (secondary)
4) what tests or treatments you are having done: HSG, clomid therapy, SA (two), and normal cycle monitoring (b/w, hormone levels, etc.)
5) where you are in your cycle/treatment plan and what's coming up next: IUI #2 coming up. cd 3 u/s was great, will monitor on 2/25 again to determine next step, trigger, and/or IUI.
LO#1 - 19 cycles, 3 IUIs, 1 m/c, gonal-f, ganirelix, ovidrel, progesterone

I think I am on the list! I thought I responded!
Question of the week: What is your favorite book? "The Boy Called It" It's a dark true story. I am only into non-fiction.
Edit: cd3 u/s all clear onto more clomid with possibly IUI!
Update...I go in on Wednesday for my next round of thyroid b/w to see if my levels have actually stabilized on their own. Otherwise the endocrinologist will want me to have a nuclear thyroid scan.
Cycle 20 will be coming to an end within a week (or not?! fingers crossed, but not getting my hopes up...this cycle has been crazy with me having strep, then DH getting sick, and now I think he's given his cold to me...so my temps have been kind of irregular) and once my thyroid is figured out we can start back with the RE and our plan for IUI.
Favorite book? I don't think I can pick just one. I recently read My Sister's Keeper though and loved it.
DX: High FSH/DOR
It took 44 cycles, just over 3 years, 6 failed IUI's in MI, and 1 round of IVF at CCRM to get our BFP!

I can't wait for the "im getting a divorce" post in 5 years or so because your husbands were fed up with your disgusting chair asses from playing on the knot all day and getting fired 4-5 times for not doing any work. you guys are all winners!! ~ Laur929
I'm so sorry.

Oh that SUCKS!! Sorry kdodge.
Thanks! It is still on the high side but it isn't the "holy shiiit that is REALLY high" that it is when the doctor takes it. I'm hoping for good news at my appointment in a week.
I'm SO happy for you and your ET.

RE conintues to say this this is unconcerning even though it's very clotty. They say lots of women have spotting/heavy spotting after O before AF and they get KU. I dunno. I've asked them about Hysterscopy (sp?) next cycle if this one doesn't work out.
Favorite book: Probably White Oleander, but Twilights and HPs are obviously up there too.
Yea, Kdodge. So sorry. Really sucks.

Still on BCP and waiting to start IVF March 12th. I'm having the mock transfer on 3/1 and then Orientation for meds teaching on 3/4.
I'm also having an unrelated surgery sometime during the first week of March for a rotator cuf tearf in my left shoulder. I was hoping to get it done this week but the dr was booked up.Waiting to hear back from the dr's office for a date and time. Fun times!!

Kdodge - you got a cyst from Femara? Or was it the follie that never released? You know they should have a better diagnosis for you now. Sorry about all that.
L - sorry about the BFPN

Hi! I got a BFP today! I had a very very very faint line on two tests. My beta is tomorrow!
I can't pick one book. There are way many that I love!

Update: LH surge test on 2/21 - u/s showed a nice follie on the right side. Lining looked good - it measured 9; estrodiol level was fine. Still haven't O'd yet, I had bloodwork to check my LH again today (still no +OPK at home).
