How much to tip movers?

Obv. it will depend on if they do a good job or not, but generally, how much? Do you give each guy a certain amount of cash or do you give a lump sum to one guy and he will divide it? (I assume there will be 2-3).

We're moving on Wednesday and I've never used movers before. Just hoping it isn't snowing that day!

    Our three guys were awesome. They had us door to door in 2.5 hours with furniture arranged as we wanted.

    They picked up dressers with clothing still in it, significantly reducing the amount of packing we had to do.

    We tipped just as we would for any outstanding service- 25%.

    We are already paying about $400 if that makes a difference. They are only moving large furniture, not everything.

    We gave each guy (there were 3) a $20, bought them lunch and also gave them the unopened case of beer we had in our fridge. HTH!
