Target brand BBT

Does anyone have the Target brand BBT thermometer? My other one broke this morning so I used the Target one for the first time. The one thing that bugs me is there is no light, so my bedroom is dark and I have no idea what I'm doing.

Does anyone know how many beeps before you can stick it in your mouth? Also, what does Lo mean? I can't find the instructions and my DH was about to kill me with the constant beeping because I couldn't figure it out in the dark!

I have it... I just press the button once and then put it in my mouth and wait for it to beep again... Lo mean Low temp... this is error. It does stink that there is no light... but I like it. I bought it a year ago and it still works good.

Thanks! You had to see me, I had the light from my cell phone trying to figure the damn thing out. Is 97.6 that low? What is it comparing it to?

I use my cell phone to see the temp too.. Dh has learned to ignore the beeping. When it reads Lo there was an issue with the temp... 97.6 is your temp... It saves your last few temps for you... so when you hold to button down it reads them. Lo is just when the thermo could not read a temp. Does that make sense? If I am confused I just turn it off and start again. To turn it off wait until it starts to read a temp and then press the button.

this! I love mine too..I bought a CVS one that crapped out on me pretty quick. The Target one seems to work like a charm

I have the target one too..it says 97.70 every time I turn it on and then says LO when it says LO I stick it in my mouth. The only thing I hate about it is that it takes FOREVER. But it seems to work pretty well
