Babies: 9 - 12 Months

Has anyone switched to the Similac Grow and Go formula?

I've been seeing this formula for babies 9+ months, Similac Grow n' Go. I was planning on asking our pedi about it today at D's check up. Does anyone here use it?

  • Our Simlac Go n' Go is 6-24months.

We switched around the 6 month mark.

  • What is the difference between the two?
  • We use Enfamil, but they have a similar older babies formula.  I, however, never used it for any of my LOs.  I am going to continue with the Enfamil Lipil Premium until 11.5-12 months, and then switch to whole milk.
  • My husband got it on accident last month and we haven't noticed any difference.  The amount of ingredients is not much different either.

We almost bought it on accident, too. The packaging is the EXACT same!

  • I think it's formulated a little differently taking into consideration that your LO  is likely eating solids 6 months +.

  • We switched at 9 mo per pedi's recommendation casue A wouldn't drink the regular Similac anymore.  It must have a different taste and seems a little thinner cause she she takes it like a champ.  It has more of certain nutrients and less of others since your child should be eating a decent amount of solids at 9mo.
