It's hit me but is not so bad this time around. I was pretty rock bottom with DD#1, although I think the fact that she had to be medicated for acid reflux (she cried nonstop) and that BFing wasn't going so hot, made for a bad combo. My lil guy this time is a champion BFer and he sleeps a lot and doesn't give me such a hard time;)
I try to spend as much time outdoors as possible. I know being cooped up in the house makes my blues worse.
What have you found that helps you? Thanks for sharing:)
Re: How are you combating your baby blues?
What has helped me is getting out of the house and talking to family and friends everyday. Getting out is hard right now though...my dr doesn't recommend me taking her out for 6 wks so it's only been out to family's houses. My first 2 weeks were REALLY hard though and I felt so guilty for feeling the way I was feeling. I never knew how hard taking care of a newborn was going to be!
Just this last week my baby blues have gotten so much better....I was starting to think PPD but now not so much.
