Ladies, how much lifting is allowed after IUI? My in laws don't know about IF and my FIL just handed my niece to me. She isn't really heavy, and I put her down ASAP but I was just wondering...
the key is that she was handed to you - you didn't lift her.
It's fine to hold the baby, just don't be the one to pick her up.
The rule on lifting is generally 10 pounds.

My RE never gave me any lifting restrictions after IUI's.
actually, i wasn't thinking - i was referring to my lifting restrictions after my IVF. I've never had an IUI.
i'm sure you're fine either way!

After my IUI's my doctor told me to exercise to help relax as early as the next day.
I have never had any lifting restrictions mentioned.
