Re: Study: Most ?test tube? kids are healthy
This phrase really annoys me too. I thought we were past it.
Unexplained Infertility
After two Clomid cycles, three injectable IUI cycles, two IVFs, two miscarriages, and one lap surgery, IVF #2 has brought us our little boy!
TTC #2
After months of being postponed or cancelled, FET #1.3 (Natural FET) brought us twin girls!
this. aren't we passed all this "test tube" crap?
crap - i didn't read them - and i don't think i want to - but now I know I will.

I hate that terminology! test tube baby is like a 4 letter word at my RE's office, which is one thing I love about them.
It was only one and then my reply back. I couldn't help it...I had to!
when I went to the library to research IVF before cycling all of the books were about test tube babies. I left without checking out a single thing. I think it's total BS to still use that term.
Besides, we've graduated to petrie dishes now anyway. LOL. Not funny, but kind of.
And incorrect! I, however, am thinking of naming my baby "Petri." I think it has a nice unisex ring to it.

LOL, niki you crack me up!
The term doesn't bother me at all. Then again... I'm a chemist/chemical engineer by degree.
Admittedly, it's not the most accurate term. However, my only beef with it is when it's used in a negative manner - and this article screams anti-ART bias.
