m&m2006:

Houston-14 month old basset rescue

We were the proud parents of Fisherman Bob a basset and Mugsy, a beagle who both sadly lost their battles with cancer...we miss them so much.

We have two domestic short hair cats. They were both adopted from area shelters. Salinger is the girl. She's grey and white. Joey is the boy. He's silver grey. Joey thinks he is a dog and loves to chase his tail and play fetch. Sal is more cat like, but she always comes to greet us at the door when we get home.

Mine greets me at the door too, my DH always says that he's not a cat, he's too dependent on me to be a cat. I ? them all though.

I have 2 Chesapeake Bay Retrievers named Mocha & Kahlua. They will be 6 on March 26th. They are litter mates and are complete mirror's of each other in their mannerisms. It's pretty funny to watch them together.

We adopted (when he was six months) ab/Mastiff mix who is the sweetest, calmest dog. He is 7 yrs.

We just adopted a 3 month old Boxer who is a HANDFUL to say the least. I'm hoping she learns to be calm and sweet from my big dog.

Medium haired cat named Beatnik (he's a tuxedo cat and has markings that look just like a mustache and a goatee), and a short haired cat name Gobi (like the desert...he's sandy colored).

I have 3 dogs and 2 cats.

Scooby (our first born) is a Beagle Terrier mix and is 5 years old.

Coco (our diva) is a Chihuahua Terrier mix and will be 2 next month

Bella (our newest) is 1/2 Beagle and something bigger and will be 1 next month.

Our cats are Toula (7 years old) and Isis who is close 14 or 15 years old.

We have a full house! Casey, 8 year old tuxedo cat that is incredibly friendly (he's the one in my siggy) Murphy, 7 year old black cat that is 21 lbs! Kenley, 5 year old gray long haired cat. He is gorgeous and looks like the breed called "Nebelung" Tommy, 3 year old medium orange tabby cat Nugget, 9 month old sable and white sheltie Newman, 7 month old blue merle sheltie. He's named for Paul Newman and not for the Seinfeld character because of his gray hair and blue eye.

Mac is a domestic short hair. He's 9 and thinks he's a puppy. Always greeting me at the door for his belly rub and likes to play fetch. Fluffy is a 6 year old male persian and is so crazy. Both were from the humane society.
