Just wondering. I've been pumping for 15-20 minutes, but didn't know if I should pump for longer/shorter/just until I don't see milk coming out as fast.

Have you read "Mothering Multiples?" Its a BFing book for MoMs written by LLL and a fantastic resource. The book recommends pumping for 1-2 minutes after you stop seeing milk coming out. For me, this is about 10-15 minutes.

I haven't. I'll look into it. Thanks.

Depends on why you're pumping. If you want to increase production, pump at least a few minutes after the flow has stopped. If you have good production and just want the milk for storage or feeding, then pump as long as it takes for the oz of milk you want or until the milk flow stops.
Re: how long to you pump for each time?
