If you use OPKs, what is your FWP plan?

Do you BD e/o/d? What day do you start? Every day after +?

Just curious.

I usually start BD'ing a few days before I get a pos. OPK, then if I get a pos just try to be sure to BD that day and the day after!!!

The cycle I got my BFP I had sex every other day until I got a +OPK, then I had sex that day, and the next day. If I get another day of +OPK then I would have sex for another day on top of that. My OB says the only day that matters is O day itself.

My chart are in my siggy (the august one is my BFP) if that didn't make any sense.

We BD every other day after AF is done and then every day right before I expect a positive, then 2 days after. I ovulated on CD 12 or 13 before m/c, so we would start every day at CD 10 and then stop about 15 or 16.

I don't really agree with that. If you O at 3:00 AM and don't have sex until 10 PM that night, it's been almost 20 hours since your egg dropped. While you technically can count that as sex on O day, it'd be a long shot to get KU that cycle. We can pinpoint O day, but we can't pinpoint O TIME, and an egg only lives for ~12 hours, so I think the O-1 and O-2 are most important. That's just my opinion, though, and I'm most certainly not a Dr.

i use opks but we tried e/o/d this cycle. the day i got a + opk we did not do the deed since we did it the night before and the day after. i have a feeling it didn't work though since i'm feeling pms/af symptoms. (

i think next cycle we may start bd'ing at cd 10 e/o/d and then if we get a + opk do it every day.

Oh, I don't agree with it either. I was just saying that is her belief. If I believed it DH and I would not have marathon sex weeks every damn month.

FWP as soon as it looks like it gets dark, I try to make sure it's the day before, on and after a positive OPK. But then again I only use OPKs sparadically and have never had a BFP the months I've used them.

This month we started e/o/d or sometimes more until I got my + (yesterday), & we plan to e/d for a few more days.
