I'm full of random tonight- recommend your vacuum

Ours sucks. We'd been using my mom's rainbow, but we don't have 1500.00 to spend on a vacuum, lol.

I need one that's compact and works great. I covet a dyson, so if you know where to find a good deal on one, please share. Though, I'm open to any brand.

Thanks!

  • We've had our Dyson for awhile, so I don't know about good deals recently.  But, I will say I was hesitant to spend that much money on a vacuum.  It was completely worth it!

  • I looked at vacuums forever and decided to get a bissell. From what I read, and I know some people on here will disagree, your paying for the name wiht a Dyson. The one I have was about $70 and it's awesome even with 5 pets.

ITA. I love love LOVE our Dyson. It has amazing suction power and is super easy to take apart and clean. It's especially great if you have pets with fur.

I'm pretty sure ours is a bissel...it's bagless and all. I'm pretty sure it was 69.99 too. I'm glad it works for you, but if we have the same one, ours sucks bigtime...haha...actually, it doesn't. ;)

    This, 100%.

  • Get the Dyson.

My mom got hers with a 20% off BB&B coupon (not sure if they limit those now...), but if you have a kohl's charge and can hold off until the next time they have a 15, 20, or 30% coupon, google the 30% coupon code and get the vacuum for a whole lot cheaper.  (Note...they will price match!)

  • I love my Roomba 560 - the best part is I only have to press a button!

That's how we got ours a couple years ago. We have the basic yellow one (not the 'ball' one) and it works great on our massive quantity of cat hair. Just whatever you do don't buy the cheap bagless like the Dirt Devil - we had two that crapped out within 6 months.

  • Now this post is making me want a Dyson again. But I think it all depends on who you ask. I've seen so many people who hate their Dyson and then others love them. I just can't see myself spending over $200 on a vacuum.
