Pregnant after a Loss

Did you hear??? (16 and Pregnant mentioned)

I heard on the radio yesterday that when 16 and Pregnant premiered last Tuesday that it was the highest rated show on television that night. No joke. Beat all the network shows, all other cable showes, even beat out the Olympics.  Wow!  Wonder what that means?  And haha, YES I was one of the millions that watched!

  • Didn't hear that....I knew the Olympics had beaten American Idol this week....I watched and that girl had some major issues. She wanted nothing to do with that baby.

  • I have never seen it.  But my lack of cable might have something to do with it, so I can't be too smug.  ;)

  • I wonder if that will cause the rate of teenage pregnancy to continue to increase, which it has for the first time in a decade? I believe.

  • I think 16 and pregnant would deter kids from getting pregnant. These shows make these kids look pretty sad. The one I saw with Jenelle was so sad, first off her mom looks older than MY mom, is taking full responsibility, and Jenelle thinks she's a rockstar going out clubbing on a school night and she's only 16. She's looking to get knocked up again in no time. I feel sorry for her son, and think that she should have thought more seriously about adoption!
