PP periods

I'm 3 months pp and this is my 3rd period.  It's still so freakin heavy!  Clots and all.  It stays heavy too for like 5 days.  It's like heavy and then gone.  There is no graduation down with the lighter pink then brown.  Anyone else?  I'm not on birth control at all so of course that would lighten it up but we don't want to go on bc right now b/c we want to be pregnant again soon.  I am just wondering if anyone else has this as their normal or if I might want to have things checked out.  Strangest thing...no cramps with my heavy period.

    I was one of the "un"lucky girls and even though I was regular pumping/bf i was still bleeding a lot!  it was crazy.  at about 3 months i finally stopped and then i got what seems to be a "normal" period like you are mention from heavy to light.....before it was heavy then stop.  I am just now starting to be :normal" again and i'm about 6 months out!
