Strange text from a friend ...

So I got this text last night from my friend who lives back home.  We used to be really close and we worked together for a couple of years.  We talk every now and then ... and I try to see her when we visit home.

So the text said :  "It's a boy!" :P

I'm thinking ... huh?

I text her back:  "I have no clue what you're talking about... fill me in?"

Her response "omg, I thought I told everyone ...  I'm pregnant!"

me:  Indifferent

So I called her ...  she is 20 weeks and just had her big U/S.

I was really happy for her on the phone ... I even started crying b/c it was such a shock and such a rush of emotions all at once.  I am so happy for her ...

She kept saying that she swore she told me and DH.  She didn't.

Kind of makes me feel bad.  Sad    ...

    I had the same.exact.thing. happen to me. ?The only difference was that my friend KNEW she didn't tell me. ?I was the last friend/person to know. ?Needless to say I was hurt and sad. ?Her excuse was that she was telling people slowly and I just so happen to be the last person. ?Whatev's. ??
    Me: 30, DOR with a FSH of 12.5
    DH: 31, no issues
    4-6/2012 100mg of Clomid + trigger + IUI/TI = BFN
    7/2012 150mg of Gonal-f + trigger + IUI = BFN
    8/2012 Surprise unmedicated BFP!! Due May 8, 2013

    That is really lame! My friends who have gotten pregnant have told me first since I already have a baby. I don't understand why they would tell you last? I would be hurt too.

    That stinks. :( I'm sure she didn't mean to not tell you especially if she was letting you know the gender from the ultrasound.

    I did that to a friend on accident.  My pg and photos where all over FB too.  She is a 4th yr vet student (read: has absoultely no time or life) and just missed it all.  I called her for her current address for a baby shower invite and she said, "what baby??"  I felt awful.
