My kid loves the TV. I put him on his play mat and he ends up watching TV. I do turn it off at various points during the day so we can concentrate on his toys or on each other.... but I have no intentions of sitting here in silence all day long just so my kid doesn't watch any TV. I did as a child, and I turned out well.
I mentally knock people who admit to watching soap operas down IQ points. Its only okay with me if you live in a nursing home. Oh or if ther buy soap opera digest magazine.
I am a shorty but when I got to DH's side of the family its like entering the land of the giants. ?Dh is 6'4 and he has a sister who is 6'1. ?She got made fun of her whole entire childhood for being super tall and had issues her whole life due to being so much taller than all her peers.
Gianna has always been in the 95% for height and weight. ?She looks like a 6 mth old or older. ?From what I can see she is one of the biggest girls on this board and is one of the bigger babies overall. ?I am scared that she will be super duper tall and be made fun of like her aunts. ?
She is beautiful no matter what but I hope to God that she is under 6 ft. ?
Me: 30, DOR with a FSH of 12.5
DH: 31, no issues

For the last 2 days we haven't been able to get to the grocery store to get dog food, so we've been feeding our furbaby dog biscuits for breakfast & dinner.

Last night SO made Sheppards pie ( really, its called cottege pie since it was made with hamburger, sheppards is made with lamb, he always argues about this) Ive always liked "sheppards pie" but he makes it so plain I have to lather it in ketchup and he refuses to add anything to it like onions, peppers or cheese, anywho, I was getting it out of the oven and dropped the pan, it fell all over the floor and there was barely any left for dinner so I ate cereal while he had what was left of it.
I wasnt upset, I liked the cereal better.
Also, he ended up drinking all of the coffee this morning, I wasnt upset either because his coffee tastes like water.
I was pulling out of the driveway a couple months ago and didn't notice I was too close to my DH's car. I put the biggest scratch all the way down the car. I Felt AWFUL, but I blamed it on the landscapers.
I think the reasons ppl don't pierce their DD's ears are somewhat ridiculous. It OK if you just don't want to do it, but don't be an idiot about it. The hole will not migrate up the lobe as she becomes older and her ears grow. And it's not a way to sexualize her or make her look like a "mini adult"...that's just a douchebag thing to say. Also - I don't understand those who are hellbent on waiting until DD asks for it. Why?? So you can feel cool and empowered when you say yes? Doesn't every woman want pierced ears? It's not like you're waiting til she's old enough to pick a religion!

I dont know. I have my ears peirced, but I think Ive worn earings a handful of times my whole life. Ive just never felt the need to decorate my ears. I could have lived without them being pierced.

I got a VERY faint BFP this morning. I am not due for AF for about a week. But my dog has been extra clingy and that reminded me of when I was pregnant with Keegan. I knew there was a chance. The superbowl was extremely exciting and the condom broke.
I am terrified. I just threw up from the stress. I don't know what we are going to do.

Congrats!
Thanks. It wa so faint I went over to my neighbor's house (they are friends of ours) to have them look at it before I even told FI because I was convinced that it wasn't there. But when she AND he both saw it, I knew it was there.

Another- Screw you republicans. Being funny while you throw around your pompus statements isnt going to make me like you anymore.
Being funny doesnt make you eligable for doing anything in congress and they are pulling the wool over peoples eyes by making jokes, and then not actually caring about getting anything done.

Don't be terrified! You'll make it! Just don't leave us for the 1st tri board...

This. Seriously, what kind of sick person thinks earrings "sexualize" a baby? You can go ahead and spout off all your other reasons for waiting, that's fine, but that one is an insult to parents who choose to do it early.

ITA and I don't want to pierce her ears. I don't want to be responsible for taking care of them. Plus she has no hair and her ears stick out so I don't think they'd look cute on her now. That being said, I don't think they sexualize a baby and I couldn't care less who does it.

I prop up DS' bottle in the morning while I'm getting ready for work.
My best friend, my husband, my everything Matthew Kevin 7/31/83-7/20/11

I think ear piercings on little girls looks tacky but if someone wants to do it then I don't care.
I let my dog lick Natalie on the face. I also let her lick Natalie's hands and don't always wipe Natalie's hands off.
It sometimes annoys me when Natalie "talks" to herself. I'm obviously not going to make her stop (can you even make a baby stop?) but sometimes it gets annoying.
I'm a little mad at my husband for needing to have surgery. I'm going to start getting paid and we were going to use all of that money towards CC bills but now that he will be off work for a while we are going to need my money for other bills. He should have gotten it taken care of when I first told him to.
I think I'm a bad writer but it still makes me a little sad when people don't comment on my blog.
I wish I was more witty.
I just found out that my mom thinks I can just "get over" my depression and will "grow out of it". It makes me so unbelievably angry that I want to punch her in the face. She's coming over tonight and I plan not to talk to her or let her hold Natalie. Yes, I know it's juvenile but I don't care.
For the last 2 days we haven't been able to get to the grocery store to get dog food, so we've been feeding our furbaby dog biscuits for breakfast & dinner.
Me too, except meals of pupronni. Dh finally picked her up some food this morning.
Give me a break... everyone thinks this, and if they swear they don't, they're lying. They are cute because they are babies, but like adults, not all of them are attractive.
I'm really bad for comparing DD to other LO's. I really try not to do it because I know that every baby is different and they all develop at their own pace, but sometimes I do it and then I feel awful about it!! I don't know if it's first time parent jitters or just me being paranoid but I can't help it!! I'm worried that she's behind even though I know that she isn't. The only thing she can't do yet is roll over and sit unassisted both of which she doesn't really have to know by now so I know deep down I have nothing to worry about but I can't help it sometimes!! Up until this week when we got a new playmat she was a tummy time HATER so 2-5 minutes was the most she would tolerate it, now she'll go up to 10+ minutes which is GREAT!! So at least now I feel better about how much tummy time she's getting, and she's so close to rolling over back to belly. I really need to stop being paranoid!! I'm such a worrier anyway so that doesn't help!!
I was doing pretty good until I read my friends FB status the other day.Her daughter was born in July so she's 6.5 almost 7 months old now. And the other day she had on her status that her DD has 3 teeth, can crawl forwards and backwards, and is starting to pull herself to standing when she's in her crib and on their furniture!! I couldn't help thinking for a second after I read it that I wanted DD to be doing the same things when she's that old. Then I thought about how stupid that sounded because she will do things when she's ready!!

Several of my reasons for breastfeeding are selfish.

My FI is from LA so he was excited and therefore we celebrated. Maybe we celebrated a little too rough or too long?
holy crap, congratulations!!
