Rolling over & screaming?

Uhm help!?

DS just started rolling to his belly... the thing is, he HATES tummy time & starts screaming like he's being tortured... anyone else's LO do this? DD started turning at around 2mths, and there were no issues there. I help DS roll back to his back (about 15-20 times now), and he flips right back to the belly & screams again. Oy.

Any suggestions would be GREATLY appreciated Big Smile

    Is he in the sleep position?  I Had to start using it again cause I was having the same problem but the other way. She would roll to her back and not roll back.

    Yes, tried that... but apparently, he's so adamant about rolling that he cries until I set him free lol... it's like he really doesn't want to actually roll over, but just can't help himself.

    We've got the same thing going on...I've heard it's a phase and will pass, then they turn into rolly pollys and roll all over multi directional.

    DD did this when she was first able to roll onto her tummy from her back (around 4 months).  At 2 months she was able to roll from her tummy to back, but when she figured out how to roll the other way (back to tummy) it was like she forgot how to get back onto her back again (even though she knew that first?!).  Am I making any sense?  Anyways, I just kept flipping her back over until she got the hang of it.  It only lasted a week or so, and then she was rolling all over the place.  It was not a fun time for either of us.  Sorry, no suggestions. :(
