Anyone make their own rice powder or cereal?

I'm curious how a blender or food processor works for grinding the rice, did it do a good job? Is it easier to cook a small batch of rice and then just puree that?

    Is this for real?  You can get it for a dollar a box at the store.

    I did with DD and it worked best in the blender. The food processor was a bust. The texture will be different if you cook it then puree. This time I am not making my own cereal, just using an organic one that only contains rice.

    I did oatmeal. Used the bullet and made ita powder then cooked it. was simple.. now if I could just convince DS he likes it lol. Haven't tried rice yet.
