I'm feeling very resentful tonight.
MH is gone for the 3rd week in a row. He gets home late tonight, like 2 a.m., and then leaves again on Sunday. I know people have it far worse, but I am sick of being stuck at home with three kids in the cold and the snow.
I've tried to make the best of it. I've gotten out with friends almost every day. I bought TV on DVD for Ian and I to watch at night. Lila and I have done projects. But honestly, I'm over it and I just found out that MH is leaving at 6:30 a.m. on Sunday to go back and won't be back until *maybe* Wednesday.
Cara was only waking up once a night but has started waking up 2 or 3 times. Lila hasn't napped for the last two days. And tonight Ian argued with me for a full 30 minutes about whether or not he had to do his science homework.
Oh and today Lila told my friend that her daddy left to go live on an airplane. I don't know if that is funny or sad.
Blah. Just needed to vent. Thanks for listening.

I don't know how you do it. My SIL has two kids in elementary school and a two year old with a heart condition and my brother travels every week all over the world, sometimes London, Paris, and Egypt, all in the same week. Somehow she keeps it together. He has done this for years. My DH is traveling 2 out 4 weeks this month. It isn't so bad, but when your stuck inside or you or the kids get sick, it sucks.
Buy a bottle of wine, make or buy your favorite meal your DH hates and enjoy your Sunday!

You are my hero for juggling all that you are on a daily basis.
I can see why you'd be over it. I'm over it almost every day by 5pm! I have a 3 year old who doesn't nap anymore, and a baby who hardly naps anyway, and DOES NOT sttn.
