diapers for chubby babies?

We usually use cloth but are going on vacation next week so we need sposie recs! I don't want to be the idiot standing in front of the diapers reading every package so what do you use? I need something that will last all night too (not that he sleeps through the night but I don't want to wake him up too much by changing him). We also EBF so I am also worried about poo explosions.

And how do sizes work? He is about 17 lbs.

My LO is 18 pounds and 26 1/4 inches long. Pampers work the best for us. No leaks at night- even if he sleeps for 7 hours at a time.

My DD is about 19lbs and 27". She wears pampers size 3.

J is a little over 17 lbs and we use Huggies size 3 diapers.

My LO is 18lbs as well but shorter and we use pampers as well. Since he's been born we have only had 1 leak!

Off topic but I'm glad someone elses 4month old weighs 18lbs too! People keep freaking out when they hear how much DS weighs...I'm like at least he's healthy and happy

I would recommend pampers over any other brand. We've never had a pee leak yet and sometimes her diapers weigh 10lbs. in the morning they are so wet. She's also never had a diaper rash (which I think their absorb away mesh liner helps with).
