Manual Pumpers

I give you so much credit. I haven't used my manual Medela i had at from the hospital since I got home, i've been using my PISA. This morning I grabbed it instead of unpacking everything thinking eh it's "easier" well boy was I WRONG. It took me about 10 minutes longer then I normally pump and I had such a cramp in my hand, then I saw that had had at least an oz less then I normally can pump and it just wasn't getting anymore. Kudos to all of you who can survive using the manuals I am SPOILED rotten by my PISA and just want to say how much more dedication I think pumping with one shows.

  • Yea, I have been using my manual pump and I am sick to death of it. I am going to look at a pump off craigslist tonight.
  • I love my manual but this post makes me think I need to get out my hand me down PISA.
  • I get 5-6 oz with my manual and it takes the same amount of time than my electric pump. How odd?
  • I can get 6-8 oz in 5 minutes using my manual pump (from one side). It's a lot easier to clean than the electric one, so I prefer to use it. It takes just as long to get that much from the electric one.

  • I HATED my manual, I thought it would be so much easier when we were going to be out for a while but I rarely got more than a few ounces. Props to those who could use them!
