Well, I had stopped BC two years before I got pg. We tried for year and half and then said f it and stopped actually "trying". After that I got pg. Funny how that works. I guess I would say half and half?
We tried for 10 months after my m/c. We got pg with DS the first cycle we decided to stop charting and focus on other things. But I'll never tell that to anyone IRL because they were the ones saying, "Just relax and it will happen."
We had just gotten married, we weren't preventing and I decided to chart using my first AF after our wedding, the only information I could remember. The website told me when I was fertile so I jokingly told DH that when he got home from work that Sunday we "had" to do it. He jumped on the opportunity since he works nights and that doesn't usually happen. We NEVER expected it to actually happen but it did and we are beyond happy!!

We planned it but didn't think it would happen so quickly. I went off bc in november and conceived in december.. we were pretty shocked as we thought it would take longer. we feel really fortunate though.
I voted planned because we did plan on having them about 2 years apart... but the first month we stopped preventing we had a "hole in 1"! So we were pretty surprised that it happened so quickly and with only one possible chance that cycle.

we had been trying for 9 months before the m/c then i got pg again on the first cycle ttc after, so he was technically planned, i just didnt think it would happen so fast after the m/c...

Re: Clicky: Was your LO planned or a surprise?
It was our first month of not preventing, but we weren't to the point of "trying."
Needless to say, we were surprised it happened so quickly.
This...exactly.
This. Except I was on Sprintec (oral BC)
Like you, I was on bc. Big surprise!
