What do you do after LO eats (nurses or takes bottle, not solids)?

After DS eats he will spit up if he sits up or plays on his tummy. Its so hard because that's all he wants to do now. I try to keep him upright, but never can seem to do it long enough. Its not a lot, but I wonder if I could prevent it. What do your LOs do after they eat? Does your LO do this or is DS having problems? TIA

    I put her in her bouncy seat for a few minutes. I attach toys to it.

    I don't give DS tummy time soon after a bottle or he will spit up for sure.  Even if he plays on his tummy a while after a bottle, your'e still taking a chance, lol.  He's always been a happy spitter.  It's inevitable.

    I hold her upright in my lap for a while, or put her in the bouncer with toys attached.

    This mostly...or I end up nursing her to sleep and she naps.

    She usually falls asleep after she eats. If not, I don't put her on her tummy b/c she'll spit up. I used to put her on her back but now she just flips! Honestly, usually I just hold her and talk to her, if she doesn't go to sleep.

    DD will spit up if we try to do tummy time right afterwards, as well. We do a diaper change after every feeding, so it helps to settle her belly a little. Then we'll play a little on the change table, make faces at each other and I'll blow raspberries in her neck. It makes her have belly chuckles just about every time and I adore it!

    Sometimes we'll practice rolling from side to side and this also keeps her entertained. Probably not the best thing for me to be teaching her (rolling on the change table), but I never leave her alone.
