TLC show, I didn't know i was having twins

Very similar to I didn't know I was pregnant.

I caught the last 15min last night and found myself yelling at the TV. During the last 15 min, a women who chose to have no prenatal care, and deliver her baby at home with her husband gave birth to two babies, breech.

    yea... apparently she had done a lot of reading on breech birth and knew to not push. She could feel the feet so she knew they were breech.

    She must be way more in tune with her body than I am. I though I was feeling an elbow or foot for a long time, but it turned out to be Maddy's butt.

    This sounds very similar to a woman that was on I Didn't Know I Was Pregnant. She and her husband didn't have any insurance, they already had a couple of other kids, and she decided to go with an unassisted home birth. It was totally crazy. I believe she delivered in the tub and had researched breach births so she knew not to push. I think she thought she just had one in there, and then she was surprised by the second.

    She said she could feel the baby on both sides through her pregnancy, but she didn't know it was twins. ...

    The part that bugs me the most about stories like this are the lack of prenatal care. Unassested home births scare the crap out of me but I have meet a woman who done one and talked extensively about it with her. She didn't change my mind about it not being for me BUT I try not to judge those who feel it is for them.

    side note: A 2nd uncle of DH's had two sets of twins both expected to be singletons! Of course this was 35ish years ago and before u/s were regular thing. He teased me all though my pg that I was having twins!
