moving in spring...question!!??

So my husband and I are starting to look at homes in Spearfish and there is a lot of snow here... we are originaly from Colorado, so I have no idea how long the snow lasts here.... any feedback would be great for planning our move... especially because I can't really help and we are going to have to invite people up to help because we know no one here... Thanks!

    Well, if I recall correctly, we got our first decent snow in the beginning of December and it is still here. It won't melt completely melt until late spring and then it is pretty muddy. I would assume it is similar in Spearfish (I am in Aberdeen).

    I'm not sure if that answers your question.

    I would say by the end of may all of the snow is usually gone and melted.
