NT scan question.

I had my NT scan done on January 11th. I went to the OB for a routine visit on 2/1 and the midwife said I needed to have blood drawn for the 2nd round. Okay, no problem. She also said that the 1st round looked normal. I thought they were supposed to give you some kind of number, not "everything looks normal."

Yes, no?

Re: NT scan question.

  • You'll get numbers (your odds) after the blood draw. The only number that really matters during the scan is the nuchal fold measurement - by saying "everything was fine" I'm sure she meant that number was in the "normal" range.

  • You'll get the numbers after the second blood draw.
