Anyone's LO start eating less?

My DS used to eat 5 oz. about every 3 hrs. But for the past two days, he is leaving 1-2 oz. in each bottle. If we try to get him to take the rest of it, he will cry and arch his back. It's also taking him about an hour to eat because he's eating so slooow. It used to never take him nearly that long. He is on Prevacid for reflux, and it seemed to be helping. He isn't really fussy any other time. He is also sleeping less. He went from waking up once a night to waking up once every hour. The babysitter said he only napped for about 10-15 minutes at a time today. He's never been a good napper, but we could usually get at least 30-45 min. out of him. He's also just getting over a cold, but he's had it for about two weeks now, and just started doing all this within the last two days. We called the pedi. and the nurse said he may just be full and not want anymore to eat, or she said we might need to put a little rice cereal in his bottle. I really don't want to do that, but it's so odd for him to refuse to finish his bottle! Anyone else have a LO that started eating less, or have similar symptoms? I don't know what to think.

    Have you tried going from a slow flow nipple to a medium flow?  I know when we were using the slow flow, DS would get so frustrated, he would fuss all the way through the bottle.  We switched nipples and he quieted right down.

    my two are doing the same thing! I though their reflux was acting up, but that seems to be under control. they just don't want to eat.

    We were going to try that tonight. Keeping my fingers crossed!

    It may get a little messy as he gets used to the faster flow, so make sure to have a burp cloth handy!  Good luck!

    LO's baby sitter just sent me a text about his not eating alot today like 2 oz at a time, when we was drinking 4-5 oz at a time. yesterday he did seem more into his hands that wanting to eat. but she said that he cried when she started feeding him. I am not sure what is going on!!! I just wish I was off work so that I could hold him!!!!
