HELP!! How to adjust Snugride straps?

I've got to get DD to a pedi appointment in half an hour and I accidently tightened the straps way too tight when I was trying to loosen them, and I can't figure out how to loosen them again! We threw out the instructions on accident and now I don't know what to do! Anyone know how?

In the seat part there is a part of the strap that comes up and if you stick your hand in there, there is a button/lever thingy. Hope that helps

as the pp said - there is a lever in the seat (hidden in the cutout of the cushion where you see a piece of the strap hanging out. You push that in and pull on the straps at the same time to loosen them. HTH!
