Did you start smoking again after LO was born? I've had a couple ciggs, but I haven't bought a pack. It's been rough, but I'm going to try and stay smoke-free.

And I mean picked up the habit again, not had a cig or 2.

I didn't vote, because I don't consider myself a smoker again...yet. I'm in the same boat as you. I have one now and again, but am afraid I'll start back up again.

No I didn't. PP I only smoked when I drank anway. I am now on DH's asss to quit. He's been wearing a patch for the last week and is down from a pack to around 4-6 cigs a day. Hopefully, he just slowly weans himself off them!

I quit 5.5 years ago and so happy I did b/c with the stress of a new baby, I might have been tempted. DH mostly quit since DD was born. He has an occasional one.

I voted no, but I have had a few when I was out drinking a few weeks back. But none since then. Lets hope it stays that way! I can't afford to pick that habbit back up.

I am so proud of myself for quitting. I have only had one cigarette since I had my baby girl. I am in the same boat as a pp though, I think about it every.single.day!

I quit about 5 months before I got pregnant. I had one right after my miscarriage and none since. I find it repulsive now because the smell made me sick when I was pregnant.

I quit Dec 08 (and have not had even a straggler since March 09) and I am so glad. The best thing I've ever done, and no plans to ever go back.

FWIW, I am really glad we passed a ban here b/c if I were sitting in a smoky bar I would be tempted.

I never smoked heavily but I quit in December '08 and haven't looked back. Being pregnant made it easy and now I can't even imagine smelling like smoke then holding my daughter. I don't care how well you wash your hands and brush your teeth, it's still there when your holding and kissing your kid.

Same here! Its been almost a year...why can't I be one of those people who despises it now? Sucks to think about it everyday!

Me too. If I wasn't BF, I'm sure I would have given in by now. There have been some days I've been this close to breaking down. I'm planning on BF for over a year so hopefully by then it will be better.
