CPW - Driving in the snow

So all week and last week I wanted to go shopping and either couldn't because dh needed the car, or when he left the car it ended up snowing, and I'm not comfortable driving in the snow for one, but add the crazy drivers here and it's 10x worse. [Poll]

I said yes, but I have AWD and it also depends on how much snow and where I need to go (if it's important or not).

I voted yes, but I grew up in N. Michigan and now live in WNY, so I have to drive in snow.

And I am proud of the fact that I've only been in the ditch once in 15 years of driving.

I grew up in MI and learned to drive with all the joys of lake effect snow so I am very comfortable driving in snow.

However, I also am smart enough to realize that my car is not an SUV and not every out on the roads is a good driver... so since I don't live in upstate NY or MI where most drivers are comfortable and experienced with snow-driving... well, I just keep my tushy at home as much as possible.

Even though it seems like it snows every darn day between November and April where I live now, I still don't drive in the snow. My H picks me up and drops me off. I drove home from school one day junior year when we had a light snow back home and lost the tail end and two guys had to pick the back of my car up and set me back on the road. No damage, no injuries, but it shook me up. I have not driven in snow since.
