This cannot already be happening?

The last two days, Cohen has been rocking on his hands and knees.  What?  It's all happening so fast!  I still think of him as my little newborn baby, and forget that he is going to be 7 months old already.  Plus, he is reaching all the physical milestones much sooner than Rory did, so the sitting up, rolling all over the house, and now this has kind of taken me by surprise.

  • oh no!!! he's going mobile!!!!

  • It goes too fast.  DS1 also hit all physical milestones earlier, not sure if its a boy thing, second child thing, or an individual thing...

My friend has a baby born 3 days after Cohen and he isn't rolling yet.   She is pretty upset about it.

Aw he is getting so big so fast.

  • Same thing happened here. Colin took his first steps a couple of weeks ago and is now letting go and taking steps. He will be one tomorrow! Emily didn't walk until she was 15 months!!!!!!! Crazy, isn't it?

Oh no.  She shouldn't worry!  Rory really never rolled.  Anytime she was on her tummy she would puke, so we actually kind of discouraged it.  She didn't even try to crawl until after 10 months, and even that took us actually placing her up on her hands and knees.

pin - I'm going to pretend I didn't hear you say that. Wink

  • LOL oh boy you're in for it now! ;)
  • HA!!!  Brooke was like that compared to Ethan.  I bet Cohen is walking in three months!!
  • Oh man - he's on his way to tearing up the house! ;-)

Jack went from crawling to standing in about two weeks. He was taking steps at 9.5 months and walking about a month later. M did not walk until a year.

Like you, I was not ready for all of this...good luck!!

I'm also pretending I didn't hear this. Big Smile

Instead, I'm going to be totally naive and keep thinking that he will do this rocking thing for a good month or so and we won't have to even think about walking until closer to a year.

And I'm going to spend this weekend taking LOTS of fun pics while he still can't move.

  • hahahahahahaha NOW is when things start getting interesting.  Freakboy Bryan was log rolling across rooms at 4-5 months old.  The non-mobile stage didn't last long.

May the force be with you ;-)

  • DD is hitting everything so much sooner than DS did.

He didn't walk until 15.5 months, and DD was running at 10.5. It was a shocker. :-)

  • Emma's a few days older and crawled a few steps last week!   I'm so not ready for her to be mobile, but she has other plans lol!  They're trying to follow their older sisters!

  • Crazy, I am so glad that my baby is staying a baby. Has no desire to roll or push up. Riley had been doing all this for atleast a month by now.
  • wowzers!  That is early!  Go Cohen!!

Lila doesn't even like to be on her tummy. She's make the crawling motions, but she's nowhere near it!
