Condom poll!!

Backstory: I had some girlfriends over today and we were chatting. I mentioned that I have never had sex with a condom. They thought this was fascinating and very strange.

I have only had sex with DH and we pulled out and prayed when we were dating and engaged...and started TTC when we got married! So there you have it : )

So my question: do you think this is strange and/or unusual?

I don't know, I don't think it's strange, although if you did a poll I would guess the vast majority would say that they've had sex with a condom before.

I think it is strange only b/c I had a HUGE fear of getting pregnant while in HS/ College. Always with a condom and I was insane about taking my BCP.

It is kind of funny that I ended up infertile.

I hate sex with a condom so I think it's cool that you never used one! Seriously the smell of condoms makes me want to puke. I slept with other guys before DH and used condoms (or sometimes pull & pray). Dh and I sometimes used condoms when I went off BCP and we weren't ready to ttc. We still laugh about that now.

Since you've only been with your husband, I don't think it's weird. But, I would (sorry) think it's weird if you had multiple partners and didn't use protection.

Well considering your circumstances I don't think it is strange but it is a bit unusual for most people who have had sex with multiple partners. With that said, condoms suck. There. I said it.

I only have once or twice. I've only been with 2 guys and both were virgins. And I was on BCP. *shrugs* I don't think it's that odd. And good for you for only being with your DH, I wish I could say the same.
