items, I guess you could say, for the "reveal" when you get your BFP for DH? Bibs? Onesies? Etc. I have not done so yet, but I have my eye on something... Is it putting the cart before the horse to buy something "just in case" you get your BFP?
I have a onesie that says I love daddy that I have hidden in a drawer. I don't really think its cart before the horse because when I do get a BFP and it stays there this time, I'm going to be way too excited to tell DH that I won't bother running to the store to get something. I would end up yelling it to him right away. So now that I have something already waiting I'll be sure to be more creative with it.

I have a baby on board sign I was going to wrap up and give DH after I got a bfp. I was going to tell him I bought him something for his car. (he loves his car). I'm not sure if he'd ever actually put it up when we have a baby, but it was just the thought of 'baby on board'.
He's told me since I bought it that he wants to be there when I test, so I probably won't be doing that.
I will probably just tell my DH (or he will be there with me). But I have thought about things for telling my the grandparents and such. Like onesies or if you can hold out, a picture frame with an ultrasound picture. Woah, I'm getting way to ahead of myself right now.
I did buy a "My Dad is a Rockstar" binky set, I gave that to DH when we found out we were pregnant last time, we miscarried shortly after we found out. So granted there is a next time... I'll probably just tell him. It's a really cute idea to get him a little something though! There's a cute book "My boys can swim" It's a guide to pregnancy from the guys point of view- it's pretty funny. That would be a good gift.
i've been thinking about this! i originally wanted to get DH a big cookie decorated with "suprise...you're gonna be a daddy!" on it. but that means i'll have to keep the secret all day long. i might get a cute onsie or something and stash it just in case i can't keep it in.
So happy for my BFPB Steff13914 and her new twins! Welcome to the world sweet babies:)
I'm not really in to the "suprise I'm pregnant" thing with DH. We already know we're trying, and I'm sure he can't help but notice when I'm testing each month. I'll probably just run out of the bathroom with my pee stick flailing and tell him. LOL
I have not, and I did not with dd. I was too shocked and busy screaming his name, looking all over the house trying to find him! lol I think it is a sweet idea though!
We did buy Pink I love Grandma & Grandpa bibs and pink booties when we found out the sex and gave them to the grandparents in gender neutral baby sacks. Their faces were priceless.
I probably won't do it when baby #2 comes along, since he'll most likely be with me when I test!
Good luck, and I don't think it is putting the cart before the horse. It is an exciting time.
DH is a huge basketball fan, played in high school, coached, etc. He always talks about how excited he is to play basketball with baby, regardless of gender, someday. I thought this might be cute to give him when/if announcing BFP:
I bought onesies to have on hand to "surprise" DH with. By the time I finally got my BFP 17 cycles later, I had completely forgotten about the onesies and where I had stashed them.
Also there was no big reveal. I was so freaked and shaking that I woke him up at 5am and stuck the pee stick in his face.
(I remembered the onesies about 2 weeks after BFP)
DH and I RECENTLY discussed this. I thought I might do something cutsie, but he is very adament that he wants to be there when I POAS. Well not right there...LOL but you catch my drift.
I think that is cute though that he wants to share in the moment with me (whenever it happens).

I think that's a cute idea! Since our nursery theme will be Tigger (I've collected them for years!), I will get one of them off the shelf and have Tigger hold the "pee stick" and sit on the bed for DH to see. I'm usually up before him, so it should work out.
I bought something back in July. It is sitting in the bottom of a drawer.
2 years, 2 surgeries, 2 clomid fails, 2 IUIs, 1 loss, IVF #1 - 10/25/10 = BFP!, DS is now 3.5yrs!

Surprise! 12/16/14 BFP, loss #2 12/31/14
I can't wait for the "im getting a divorce" post in 5 years or so because your husbands were fed up with your disgusting chair asses from playing on the knot all day and getting fired 4-5 times for not doing any work. you guys are all winners!! ~ Laur929
I've bought lots of cute things, but not for a "reveal" or anything. If/when I get a + test, I'm just going to jump in bed with DH and wake him up screaming.
I bought a Big Sister tee-shirt for DD in the Carters sale for $5. I am worried about the cart before the horse thing, for sure. I hope I haven't jinxed myself, or that DD doesn't outgrow it soon (likely). But I am excited to just have her in it one afternoon and see how long it takes DH to notice.

I LOVE this idea! Think I'm going to go take a look for it.
I bought a shirt that says "Worlds Greatest Dad" only because DH wants to be surprised. Otherwise i would just shove the stick in his face and say "look!"
i carry your heart with me(i carry it in my heart)

I have 2 things already. A onsie from DH's favorite soccer team and a bandana for our furbaby that we'll use to tell my IL's. I don't htink it's really a cart before the horse thing...just excitment! GL to all!
I'll just tell him. I don't like the idea of making it seem like a gift for him or something - he had just as much part of it as I did (well, not really with the fertility treatments, but you know what I mean). I can see why people get all creative, but that's just NMS.
I (very recently) purchased an all-in-one cloth diaper. I plan to wrap the HPT up in the diaper and after he sees it, make some kind of comment about how this is the only diaper he's going to want to open.
I don't have anything for DH. I don't think I could hide anything long enough for a surprise. I do have something for my grandmother though. She's been asking when we are going to get pregnant from the time we got married. I'm going to wear a shirt that says "yes I am" and wait for her to notice it.

This. The times I had a BFP I didn't do anything cute, and I don't plan on doing anything the next time.
