Babies: 9 - 12 Months

I hate when I avoid a work phone call I should have just taken

I screen most of my calls because I like to be prepared before I talk to someone. Every now and then it backfires. Like when the person I am getting the call from then sends an email and copies everyone on the planet causing a freak out for no reason just because I didn't answer right away.

  • I totally know what you mean.

  • I know what you mean.  It's always fun to respond to the e-mail with something like "I'm sorry, but I was eating my lunch" or "I'm sorry, but I have irritable bowel syndrome and sometimes that requires me to be away from my desk"
  • I got it the best when I was about 5 months pregnant, someone called and I'm not at my desk a lot of the time so they got kicked back to the operator and the delightful operator told them that I was pregnant so I was probably in the bathroom. I thought it was weird when I finally talked to the guy and he asked me all kinds of things like how far along I was and what I was having... I remeber asking "how did you know I was pregnant". It was awesome.

LOL, maybe I should try that.

I was totally thinking something like this too. But more like, "People have to poop, ya know?!"
