who's planning a summer vacation?

i am researching places right now to take B that have childcare options... anyone planning anything, anything good?

right now there is an all inclusive in Jamaica where you get your own vacation nanny as part of the package... we are checking rates on that, but it sounds nice.

    We are thinking about going to Charleton. Our family friends have a house there and we've never been. If not there, then Atlanta to visit my BFF.

    I wish we were!  We are cruisers though, so I'm not much help.  Some cruise ships have nurseries/children's programs on board.

    We are cruisers, too, and would have taken M on one this year except I don't want to rush to get her a passport. We are planning to head to Orlando next month: Disney and Seaworld!

    We're in the process of planning a trip to Mexico but it will be in April SANS LO's  - I cannot wait!!!!!!

    We are traveling to visit family in NY for the 4th - then to Key West/Captiva Island for 2 weeks in November.  We may do a long weekend in DC in June for DH's birthday. He turned 30 last year and we didn't do anything special since I was pregnant - so I said I would take him there for his birthday this year.

    We are trying to save for a european cruise in 2011 with my mom and step dad.

    We are going to Canada for a long weekend in June for a wedding so we are leaving LO with my parents.  That will be my first time away from her overnight; let alone a couple days.  I'm already feeling anxious about it.

    All 3 of us are going to the jersey shore for a week in August.  My immediate family goes every year.  We rent a house: 3 couples and 2 kids.  I'm looking forward to that.

    We will be visiting our family mountain cabin early this summer. I can't wait! Even though it has been a relatively cold winter here in South FL, (please do not throw things at me my Northern Bumpies, I said relatively), I miss the mountains so much!

    Depends on DH's trial schedule this spring... we may go to Charleston in April or we may go someplace not-so-sweltering this summer.
