Ferber/Progressive Waiting users, please come in!

Last night was night 4 for us and it's been going really well.  For the first three nights, she cried for drastically less and less.  Last night was a little off though - she fussed/cried for a minute on and off for an hour and then cried for 11 minutes before she put herself to sleep.  I never had to go into her room at all which was great and I feel like we've made amazing progress, but the on and off was a little odd to me.  Did you find that you had a night like this after a few nights of really good progress? 

Here's what we've done:

Night 1 - 37 minutes of crying over 62 minutes (soothed 4 times)

Night 2 - 17 minutes of crying over 33 minutes (soothed once)

Night 3 - 7 minutes of crying over 10 minutes (never had to go into her room, put herself to sleep)

Night 4 - 10 minutes of sporadic fussing and 11 minutes of straight crying over 73 minutes (never had to go into her room, put herself to sleep after the 11 minutes of crying)

    Every now and then DD has an off night with sleeping, but I chalk it up to everyone has an off night with the sleep. I think, myself included, that baby should have peaceful night sleeps but in reality we don't have them and some times a dream or just being wired from the day makes us not sleep good some nights and make us wake up. So why should they be any different.

    You are doing a good job and if she has an off night then she's being human, just like the rest of us.

    Yea, you know it's going to take when they give their final hurrah.  You did everything right.  It should go really really well tonight.  Just stay consistent.  Good job!  You're on your way!

    Thanks ladies!! That makes me feel better - I was worried that we were regressing and it had only been 4 nights!
