And on a lighter note - swimsuit recs?

DD#1 is a teeny thing.  Well, to me she is, I guess.  She's between 31 and 32 lbs, closer to 31.  Between 38 and 39 inches.  Skinny.

I am having no luck with swimsuits.  Both the 1 pieces and 2 pieces at Target do not fit her at all.  They are way too big in the leg openings.  And the rear.

I don't even have a clue where else to look for suits for her, or what type of suit would be best.  She had a boyshort tankini last year but hated how the top ended in a tight band just below her ribs.  I'm not sure if any other type of two piece would work for her or not.

So what are you go to suits for potty-trained toddler girls?

    I got a Lands End kids catalog and they had some very cute suits in there.  All different styles and reasonable prices.

    Land's End has some cute toddler girl suits.  And if I remember correctly I think they had some swim skirts and girl surfer shorts.  My Sears has a Land's End dept so I am going to take DD to try a few on.

    I got a ROXY suit for DD last fall and it has been awesome!  My DD is super thin and very tall, so one pieces are totally out...ROXY also runs small (she was wearing a 2T in clothes but the 3T suit perfect)  I also liked that more athletic top!  Here is a pic

    I actually stuck with the boy shorts and t-shirt style top for my DD last summer and she loves it although I think she is wanting something different for this summer (she told me the other day she wants one with straps and that covers her butt).  I am sticking with 2 piece and hoping she wants a tankini as I want her as covered as possible (they do water days at daycare so she is running around at school in it and not at the beach/pool only).  I just have gotten her a lot smaller size than I would have thought to get it to fit.
