Babies: 9 - 12 Months

Where do we go from here?

DD is in 18-24 months. 2T is just longer than the 18-24, right?

Poor DD has a big ole belly and short little legs. She is okay for right now. I know everyone says she will thin out when she starts crawling more, but DH apparently never thinned out...hehe. I am just freaked out that I will have to buy 3T or something like that.

  • I am in the same boat with ya! DD is takes about a 24 month for her belly but about a 12 month for for her length. I have no idea, I guess she will just have to have long pants for a while

::sits and waits for DD to "thin out"::

haha. I know. Her legs and arms are too short for 18-24 month. Poor girl is always sporting the rolled up pants and sleeves.

well, if it's any consolation to you, shane is the exact opposite so he's always ready for the flood waters to come rushing through our house.

and yes, his weight gain evened out after 6 months and his height shot up, so she might have a growth spurt coming!

I am praying this will happen. MIL said DH stayed chubby throughout his growth spurts.

  • We are in the same boat...DS is almost 10months old and wears 24months.  He's big in height and weight so the pants aren't too long on him and the shirt sleeves fit fine. I'm really not looking forward to moving him into 2T yet because he's still very much a "baby" and I love putting him in snap onesies and one piece play outfits still.  I'm going to start looking around for these in 2T...should be a big challenge though.
