DD had an appt with dermatologist for the first time due to eczema this week. Dr had a list of things to be careful with (dust, pet dander, bodywash, etc.) One I didn't already know was wool. He said not to use wool products on her bc they can irritate her skin more. DD is already potty trained but I thought I'd post this for those who use wool covers. If LO has eczema it can make it worse....too bad bc they are sooooo cute!
Re: Eczema & wool
I am really sensitive to wool (like I can't wear it at all) so it makes my excema worse just bc it irritates my already-irritated skin.
That said, DS has excema and it doesn't seem to bother him at all.
