TTC After a Loss

Due date calculation is VERY easy!

Just subtract 3 months and add 7 days to the 1st day of your last period. I do it every month AF shows up to see my new due date;)

Really? My last period was Feb 4th so subtract 3 months would be November and add 7 days for 11th......my due date WILL be November 11, 2010!!!

that is entirely too much math for a girl who still has to count on her fingers.

  • I sort of do that. I go ahead 9 months from O day and then subtract 7 days.

  • I go to www.countdowntopregnancy.com. I put in LMP or O-date, and it tells me due date, out of first tri date, first hb, first movement, second tri...all of that. And what seasons I'll need maternity clothing. I'm too lazy to count backward or forward or anything, lol!

Ditto this.  This formula is what many OBGYNs use to calculate due date (and nurses, too, it's what i was taught in school), but it doesn't allow for cycles that are longer than 28 days, or follicular phases that are longer (or shorter) than 14 days.  Which is why it's an *estimated* due date. ;)  I much prefer going by O date, it is far more accurate (at least in my situation and others like it).
