DH and I both watched Teen Mom so we are recording 16 and pregnant too. Its funny that he watches with me. I think he never would have done that until we were having our baby---softened him up a bit!
I love this show, but I really hope that it doesn't make a few dumb teen girls want to get pregnant just to be on MTV.
Surely not---I think it does a good job of showing how hard life is as a teen mom or pregnant and how it effects everything in their lives. Even the girls with families who are still supporting them bascially (such as Maci and Farrah) have lots of problems and issues of their own to deal with. So I can't imagine someone watching that and thinking it looks like a great idea---then again there are some dumb young girls unfortunately.

I am glad that they did Teen Mom and followed them for the first year. That really showed how much harder it was and I think better portrays how hard parenting really is at times.
I wonder how much they pay those girls for being on the shows?

I wish DH would watch it with me. He just rolls his eyes when he sees it on the DVR and tells me it's trash TV. Which it is, but it's entertaining trash TV.
