? about yogurt melts

I bought some for DS to try soon, but I bought strawberry. Now I am second guessing if I should wait because strawberries are more of a "riskier" food due to allergies. How and when do I introduce this?

FWIW, DH, our families and I do not have food allergies.

It's not fresh strawberries, which are the concern, so I say go for it. In any case, we still gave fresh before a year, and she was perfectly fine - all in moderation.

It's just strawberry flavoring, not actual strawberry, so it should be fine.

No one in our families has food allergies either, but Ben has what the pedi is calling a strawberry "sensitivity". She's not sure if it's a full-blown allergy, but told us not to give them to him again until he's at least 1 year.

FWIW, we started the melts over the weekend too and got the peach. The boys love them.
