How many of you got your BFP after your first cycle TTC? Just curious. :-)

We did! I was shocked to get pregnant the first month after so many people told me on average it can take a few months to a year for healthy couples to conceive!

Not only did we get pregnant our first cycle trying, we were only intimate one time, on the actual day of my ovulation, and here comes baby!

Technically it was the night prior to ovulation.

We did! I never expected it to happen on the first try. My husband claims he has super sperm though so he wasn't surprised at all.

DH and I weren't trying, technically; we just weren't preventing anymore. Stopped BCP and was pregnant 3 weeks later!!

My doctor told me on average it takes a healthy couple 6-7 months to conceive after stopping the pill, so I went off in anticipation of TTC in the next year or so, and got KU right away!!

We just did! We got our BFP yesterday but we didn't believe it (could hardly see it), so we tested again this morning and it's for sure!

I did. With DD, DH was working a ton the week I ovulated, so we only had time to try one time. I was so certain it didn't work, I assumed my implantation spotting was my period. This baby was a complete (but happy) surprise.

Me too! Same for my sisters and cousins as well! We're all verrrry blessed and lucky, Ladies! I tell myself that every day. We did! We decided on DD birthday (Jan 5th...also first day of AF) and started charting and trying non stop and the Feb 7th got our BFP!

Dh and I started "not preventing" in June, but we were so incredibly busy over the summer, i can count on two hands how many times we actually had sex.

In September we decided to start "actively trying" for a baby, and that is the month I got pg.

We did! We were super shocked... especially with my personal history of endometriosis and my abdominal myomectomy... We thought we might just be getting a BFP now (if we were lucky)... now we are about to entire our 2nd trimester (God willing).

We were TTA since last February (I hate BCP - they are horrible to me). Then, in December, we just decided to not worry about it anymore, and well, here we are!!

We did! and we were shocked because it took us a while to conceive with DS (and we even did fertility treatments). This time I decided that I was going to have fun and whatever happens happens. I did not even want to know when I was ovulating. I just wanted to be stress free and have fun having sex and it worked!

We had decided to start trying in December, thinking it would take a few months. I got pregnant two weeks off the pill (which until this thread I thought was rare :P) I got my BFP on New Year's Eve. I'm going to have to miss a wedding in August because I won't be able to fly to Seattle, which kinda bummed me out for a while. The bride is so excited for the baby, and we really are so lucky that this happened so fast, that I really don't have any complaints.

Our first time just seeing what would happen seemed to be timed pretty well. We were also shocked -- other women in both our families have struggled with fertility, so we feel very blessed.

Here too! I was on the pill for 11 years and planned on it taking quite a while but we were lucky the first month. Glad to hear so many others did too- I thought we were freaks of fertility nature.
