Whenver I get the chance or the money I book a pedicure at a local salon. I read all of the celebrity magazines that I never read. I work all day and only listen to serious news radio. It is my guilty little pleasure. I catch up on what is happening and relax at the same time. If I don't have any money, on my day off, after cleaning all day, I make the bed and sit with a tall beverage to watch Oprah.
Since I don't have to start getting ready quite as early as my daughter for school, my hubby wakes her up and sends her to the bathroom, and I go get her clothes ready and breakfast done, and then I slip back in bed for a good 20 minute rest before I need to start my day.
I allow myself three hours, after the husband and our 8 month old are tucked in for the night, to surf the web, soak in the tub, or just curl up on the couch with a book before I'm off to bed myself.
At the begining of every month I do a little spa night, I relax in the jacuzzi tub, add in bath salts and oils.Light a bunch of candles and drink a glass of wine. After the bath I give myself a pedicure. It's very relaxing and it starts my month off right.
Every Saturday night, my husband surprises me with a bubble bath with a handful of my favorite flowers floating in the bath. But while im in there for a while, you can tell whats hes up too, and he has my pregnancy pillow on the bed, a hot cup of caffine tea, some bob marley music playing low and some oils to rub on my skin. His idea of pampering his wife every saturday. Its like a routine for me thanks to my husband. I swear i am the luckiest girl in the world thanks to my husband. Plus i love it when he brushes my hair and massages my feet and hands. He will say sweet things in my ear about how beautiful i am.
Every morning I wake up 30 minutes early so that I can sit in the sun room, drink a cup of decaf coffee, and flip through my baby/parenting magazines. It is such a nice way to start off the day before anyone else wakes up. I am able to gather my thoughts and prepare for a day of work.
I have to mention that on th bed stand, he has a plate of fresh fruits and whipped cream and hes makes his famous coconut rice with chicken. he cooks better than i do and yet im a chef! LOL! its so funny, because after hes done massaging me, he feeds me and does baby talk to our baby, even in this early stage of pregnancy. but in a way, its his time to relax, we talk and joke and stuff our faces. its really the most amazing saturday night that we have together.
Once a week, sometimes twice, I pamper myself with nice soak in the tub with all of my favorite soaking salts and bath bubbles. And afterward, I make sure that I use a great lotion to make my skin soft.
As a pregnant, working mother of a toddler, I don't have much time to pamper myself. I count myself lucky to have a half hour or so of quiet time to read a few nights a week!
I put on some nice relaxing classical music, give myself a facial scrub and refining mask, soak my feet in some hot water and bubble bath, and then give myself a pedicure with my earth essentials kit, followed up with some gorgeous nail polish. It doesn't take too long and is really relaxing. Before I was pregnant I loved to take a super hot bath with the lights out, candles lit, and some relaxing music.
Since I live in Ohio, when I get home from work I curl up on the couch with my 8 month old cholate lab puppy and a nice piping hot chocolate. It a great way to relax after a long day of teaching!

On behalf of the wifey, she pampers HERSELF by having ME massage her legs from the feet to the ankles up over the calves to the knees and finally the thigh muscles using lavender-scented oil. I can only imagine the stress of all the added weight on her legs so I'm happy to do it. Only...who's going to massage my arms, shoulders and neck afterwards ???
Every night before I go to bed I rub lotion all over my body and especially my growing belly so that I wake up so smooth. I sleep so comfortable feeling so silky.
Every morning before my shower I brush my skin with a cactus bristle brush, and then I use dead sea minerals on my skin in the shower, and after showering I smooth on dead sea minerals body butter all over~! It all smells soooo good and makes my skin touchably soft :^)
And every evening while Im doing my facial ritual my husband gets my orange juice and my prenatal and folic acid vitamins ready for mee he truely is a gift~! He downloaded classical music for baby-to-be to listen in the womb on headphones, and he reads baby a Dr. Suess bedtime story every night and kisses him goodnight.
He likes to pamper me and baby-to-be every day~! Today for Valentines Day he made me cinnamon french toast and I received several thoughtful gifts and even a sweet card from baby-to-be~!!
I give myself a "Mommy Saturday" every week. My husband watches Maddie and I start by going to the gym for 2 hours (swim & yoga). Then I come home and take a Gingerbread Scented bubble bath. Next I curl up on the couch and while I have Maddie sleeping in my arms, DH gives me a foot rub with my favorite pumpkin spice lotion. It's the perfect little piece of heaven each week!!!
One thing my husband does to make my pregnancy experience more enjoyable is giving me a nice long massage. This tote is perfect for us and would be a wonderful help to keep the passion alive!
The best thing for me to do to pamper myself (as a stay at home mom) is to have some alone time. I belong to a gym where I can drop my son off for a few hours to workout. This gives me a little break and leaves me feeling energized.
I also indulge in an evening bubble bath a few nights a week... so relaxing!
It always varies, anything that makes me feel like "I still got it". Workout, a homemade spa pampering, pull together a new outfit, find a little extra time to feel sexy during pregnancy.
After I put DH & the kids to bed at 11, I go & take a nice hot shower. I dry my hair, give my self a facial & manicure/pedicure. I Drink a a few cups of hot tea & read my book till 1am. Then back up at 4am to feed LO.
I take time every day to pamper myself a bit, and hopefully I can still find a way to get this in after the baby gets here! On my day off each week, I have a girls day with my bestie... We do pedicure, walk in the park, lunch, whatever. Other days, I get up early, and head outside to enjoy the fresh air on the covered porch and read the paper... When it's cold I have a mug of cocoa, and when it's nice, I enjoy lemonade.
