If you've given LO egg yolks...

What did you cook them in?  Butter? A dry pan?  TIA!

  • My mom fried Ry yolk this morning. I think she used butter although I probably would have used a dry nonstick pan. We made hard boiled eggs for tomorrow and we'll just pick the yolk out.
  • hard boiled is best b/c it separates from white easily.  We eat egg whites a lot so I will save a yolk or 2 for her and just drop them in boiling water...same effect as hard boiled, but a little more rubbery.

  • Just curious, Why can't you give them egg whites too?

    My pedi said at 9 months it is ok to give LOs scrambled eggs.
