Dear Pampers: I don't think we can be friends

Any more.  Your new and improved Crusiers have doubled the amount laundry I do in a week.  I know that you are trying to make things right by sending me 4 10 dollar and 2 5 dollar coupons.  However my faith in your ability to hold in the leaks has been diminished.  I plan on purchasing the smallest packages for Baby Dry I can find with them.  If they leak I will be dropping them by my local women's shelter and hopefully they don't leak for them.

  • hmmm. DS has recently just started wetting thru Baby Dry's. I thought maybe he needed a size up, although it says he still has 7 lbs to go in this size. maybe its them....you have me thinking
  • For what it's worth, I tried the cruisers by mistake once and didn't like them.  I've been a faithful babydry user and love them.  DD rarely has a leakage problem and when she does, it's happened in the middle of the night.  After all, she does sleep for 12 hours most of the time.  Good luck, I hope they work for you.
  • I would be more than willing to trade for your coupons if you don't want to use them. Big Smile  Hopefully you find something that works.  We love BabyDry they have worked well for us!
  • I've never had issues with pampers leaking except at night so I use Huggies Overnights.  We use the baby dry though, so maybe that is the difference.
  • Yeah I can't get behind this new design.

I really like Up & Up, they are cheap and so far no leaks.

I do like the Pampers wipes and night time diapers. i will keep buying them.

This exactly (except we can't get DS to sleep anywhere near 12 hours!!).  We've always used baby dry and accidentally bought the cruisers, I am not happy with them at all and can't wait until we finish the box and go back to the baby dry.

  • It sounds like Pampers are really cruddy now with their new and "improved" changes, huh?

We use Pampers Easy Ups during the day and then Luvs over night. Thankfully their Easy Ups haven't changed.

  • Pampers is lurking around these parts posting in our thread. How about that lol. But pampers and I broke up too.
  • I hate the new Cruisers too. I complained, got coupons and still hate them. I have to say their new overnight super absorbancy diapers are pretty good but the daytime Cruisers, are awful!
  • I hate the new Crusiers too.  We are about to break up.  We haven't had leaks but they give DS a rash.  I'm very sad.  I love my Pampers.  I think we are going to have to break-up too.  I did like the Premium Absorbency but according to our "friendly" Pampers lurker they are only available at Target.com.  I bought some in store and haven't seen them since.  Yeah, I'm not paying shipping from Target.
  • Yeah.  I'm over the new design too.  Once we finish up the packages we bought of the Cruisers, I'm going to switch too - don't know what yet, but I am VERY disappointed since I've always loved Pampers.  Boo.

  • I complained and they sent $30 in coupons for P&G products but I am not happy with their product options.

When will they bring back the good Crusiers?

  • I'm done with Pampers too.  Have been a faithful user since DD was born (except overnight ones).  But their new design sucks.  Sorry, but changing them to how every other diaper is but still the same price is ridiculous.  And I complained and they didn't even bother to offer coupons.

Oh well, I won't be using them again. We have switched to Target Up and Up.

And I did try their overnight diapers recently too, and wow those are horrible!  I will stick with the Huggies.

The pounds range on the box shouldn't be what makes you go up in size. If your son is starting to wet through the diapers, go up a size.

BTW, I have used Baby Dry and they worked fine for us. I won free Huggies diapers last spring and am still using those free coupons. My free coupons are almost gone. I loved the pampers swaddlers, but switched to huggies because of the coupons. Now I am not sure what I will do. Love the huggies overnights, so I will stick with those.

  • What changed with the Cruisers? We CD during the day and use Huggies Overnights at night so I haven't bought Cruisers in 6 months or more. I never had a problem with the old Cruisers - it stinks that they suck now.
