After my 6yo heads off to bed, I will try to find my toes so that I can paint them. I love having my feet look nice and try VERY hard to keep them that way. Being 9 mos pregnant makes it a bit more difficult, but I figure that if I don't do it for me, nobody else will
After the shower, I give my belly a nice rub with my tummy lotion to help with my stretch marks.. The one I use has an awesome smell and it feels like I'm giving my little guy his loving too!
Take a 30 min shower during baby's afternoon nap which includes low lighting and in-shower facial. Gets me feeling like a lady again, rejuvenates me to make dinner and calms me so I am well prepared to calm baby in his night time routine.
When I get tired and need time for myself...I get into my PJs and curl up in bed and veg out with TV while I play with my 3 Chihuahuas and hold my baby bump! It makes me so happy and so relaxed.
I take a really long, really hot shower every morning before work. We're talking 25 minutes here. My DH is wonderful - he gets the dogs out and fed while I indulge.
Well, I'm a first time pregnancy and little did we know, we're having twins (I took the second sonogram because the other baby seems to enjoy hiding). The father and I are both serving in the Navy and well, things get VERY complicated! Either way, we are so in love with these babies.
What I do to pamper myself these days is an at home manicure and pedicure once every two weeks. Also, it's not always that I am able to shave my legs (lol) so I do that once a month while I still can (he promises to shave them for me when I can't anymore). Long ... hot showers work perfectly after a long day and gym time as well, because we don't have bath tubs here, so once I hop out, I take my time massaging pure raw shea butter into my skin, and pay even special attention to my ever growing belly .
The beginning of this pregnancy was a little rocky with my hormones, and luckily I didnt have to deal with morning sickness. I'm ever thankful that the father has been so patient with me because I have been everything, but pleasant. He would do the dishes after I cooked, he would clean if I couldnt take the smell of the chemicals, and he'd even do the laundry. Once a month we'd go out and explore Japan. But those are the things that I do to pamper myself.
pampering myself doesn't really come easy to me but I make sure that i get a chance to do so... so every night I give baby a bath then when she's all cleaned and lotioned up I make sure to get me in a nice hot bath making sure that all the lights are dimmed in the room... my hubby has the baby and I have my relaxation time all to myself!!! I have the bubble bath and bath oils with the lotion to match!!!!!... and when I'm finished I put on my cozy fleece pajamas and cuddle up with my hubby and my tooka for a good night"s sleep!
My hubby and I each get one day on the weekend to sleep in. Whoever is "on duty" mans the monitor that night and takes care of the baby in the morning!
Every night my husband watches our son while I take a nice, long shower by myself! I look forward to it every evening. Then after I put our baby to sleep, I make a cup of tea and cuddle up on the couch next to my man.
I try to mix it up with a nice hot bath and favorite bath gel once a week, set aside 5-10 minutes to think or put thoughts down in a journal once a week, enjoy a special treat for dessert once a week, and take a nap (maybe a couple of times a week on this one)!
Since my husband Dominic is a Marine and is currently deployed to Afghanistan, I really have to try and remember to relax whenever possible. It can be difficult and very stressful at times so to relax I get a manicure and pedicure every couple of weeks and try to schedule a massage once a month. I rub my own feet nightly and coco butter for my tummy. Dominic's massages are much better but I'll have to wait another 6 months for those.
While my husband takes care of story time and tucking in I get to enjoy a LONG hot shower often followed by a hot cup of tea and/or dessert. Being 9 months pregnant I really need the time to myself after a day with our 3 year-old and the shower really relaxes my sore body.
I spend every afternoon during nap time (or quiet time if it's a no-nap day) in my window seat with a good book and a cup of tea. Sometimes I even doze off for a half hour or so. What a treat!
Two things: in the morning I rub the belly down with coco butter...and in the evenings, I help myself to a small portion of whatever desert I want...guilt free. As an added bonus, I sometimes get a back rub from the hubby .
i am still trying to figure out a way to pamper myself. with working full time, traveling for work, having an adorable 23 month old girl, and currently 35 1/2 weeks pregnant with our second child . . . i have yet to find the time to truly pamper myself in anyway. winning this bag would be a great start to what is obviously needed and that is some 'me' time.
Since I got pregnant, my face is very dry and have a lot of pimple. So I decided to pamper myself to do facial mask everyday during my shower. Shower steam and mask works so well and makes me so refresh! Love it.
Actually I dont really have anything I do - I am always so busy taking care of other people in my life its hard to get time for myself. I am at the stage in my pregnancy that I am always uncomfortable so I did go and get a facial but that was a very special treat.

Occassionally I like a nice, warm bubble bath. I especially like the bubbles from Lush that turn the water pretty colors.
If I want to really pamper myself, I go out and buy fancy yarn - a nice alpaca or silk. Something spendy that feels oh-so-good on the hands.
Yes please! I would like to enter to win the "Mom Essentials" from Philosophy. Love there stuff and could use the TLC!!
Thank you,

After I take a shower each night, I lie in bed and read or watch t.v., while my husband looks after our son until its his bedtime.
On thursday mornings my DH takes DD to tumbling class and I get an hour all to myself. I usually have a hot cup of tea and do some reading.
