AF you suck!

Maybe I should embrace this very thing that makes me a woman but I don't!!!  I'm breaking out and I feel like I've been kicked HARD in the uterus, and it's just gross.

Oh well, I guess 3 years was a good long run.  December 2006 was the last time I had a real period and then I had a couple after I had Ava but they weren't like my usual periods.  I thought she would be coming back soon with Charlotte cutting back on nursing and then last week I started feeling like crap and figured it was either AF or that I needed to POAS.  At least this reaffirms that I actually know what is going on with my body. 

Now I just hope this doesn't affect my supply!  When I got my period back after having Ava it made things go from difficult to pretty much impossible to keep up my supply, but hopefully that won't be the issue with Charlotte since nursing is already so well established.  She has cut back on nursing slightly because she is sleeping better at night, but is still nursing plenty overall.  Shouldn't be a problem right?

    Booo on AF!

    I would imagine that if you haven't noticed a dip yet there's a good chance it will not be an issue... don't most people notice it the days leading up to and right around the start of AF?  That's what seems most common so, if you're still going strong hopefully it's a good sign!

    And FWIW, I've had AF regularly since 6 weeks post partum and it's never changed my supply, so it is possible to not have issues!

    And again, booooo on AF, she sucks!

    LOL! You're telling me!  My last AF before Henry was in August '08, first PP AF was in July '09... I didn't even get a full year!

    Definitely jealous of your 3 years :)

    I have gotten 2 pp periods....I do get a slight dip in supply so I take fenugeek and eat oatmeal for a couple of days...works like a charm!

    Well it could have been a little baby knocking on the door, so at least AF is the better option at this stage in the game:)
