Clicky Poll- Have you sedated your LO?

Okay, before you flame me, I'm not asking because I'm going to do it. I have two friends who have admitted to giving their LO Benadryl to get them to sleep- one for a long car ride and one for a plane ride. I started to wonder if this isn't more common than people would like to admit. So, I thought making it anonymous in a clicky poll might get people to be honest, and I'm just curious.

a friend told me to do this when we were taking C on a plane for the first time. fortunately we didn't b/c she did great without it!

My mom & dad did this to me and my cousin when we were little for a long car ride. They gave us a motion sickness medication.

I haven't flown with both kids yet, but when I would fly with my first, I would just nurse him. He would end up sleeping most of the plane ride, and when he was awake he was pretty quiet and content.

I never would. But one night DS was super tired and cranky before bed...DH said, "just give him some Motrin so he'll sleep"...ummm, no. If he doesn't NEED medicine, I don't give it. And you know what? DS STTN 11 hours that night. HA DH! In your face!
