Daycare costs in Cincinnati?

I read a post on a national board about daycare costs, and now I'm curious what local costs are. Anyone willing to share ballpark figures?

We've always planned I would SAH if/when we have a kid (we're not currently TTC), so I hadn't really thought about daycare costs. The range on the national board was from $500-$2,500/month, so now I'm curious about local costs (in case I change my mind about working).

Part time for only 20 hours a week, we pay $440/month.

When we move to the 3 year old Montessori program it will be $680/month for full time. This is in NKY.

The place we've chosen is $179/wk ($719/monthly) for infants (6wks-18months)

.....and hopefully this doesn't appear twice! Sorry if it does.

We are in Dayton, but costs seem to be comparable. We pay $816/month (that is the 18-24 month cost). For an infant-18 months, we paid $872/month. It was about the same at all the local centers that were similar.

My NKY daycare is 150 per week now that he is in the 2-3 room. Infants are higher and it drops at 1 and then again at 2.

$750/month for infant care at the daycare center we chose. I will say the price ran between $600-900/month at the places we looked at for infant care. It does drop when your baby hits 1 y.o.a.

The places we checked out from infant care ranged from $180/week to $325/week. We landed right in the middle at $260/week ($1040/month). Now that he's older we're down to $215/week ($860/month). When he moves to the next room it will go down even further.

At our daycare center, we were paying $175 a week for 4 days when she was in the infant room. The rate for 5 days was $185. Now that she's moved up, it's $173 for 4 days (the rate dropped $5/week when she moved but then tuition increased $3 in January).

I pay$195 a week for DS and he's in the toddler room. I think the infant room was around $225 per week.
