Two Under 2

If you are nursing #2 do you replace tubes and stuff on pump?

Do I need to buy replacement parts for my breast pump for #2?  Do you just buy those at BRU?

  • I just used one of those steam bags to sterilize the tubes, parts, etc

  • Me too, I just cleaned and sanitized everything really well and used all the same stuff...even bottles and nipples.

Same here.  I didn't buy new tubes or parts.

Our IF journey: 1 m/c, 1 IVF with only 3 eggs retrieved yielding Dylan and a lost twin, 1 shocker unmedicated BFP resulting in Jace, 3 more unmedicated pregnancies ending in more losses.
Total score: 6 pregnancies, 5 losses, 2 amazing blessings that I'm thankful for every single day.
  • Yes, I replaced everything for sanitary reasons. I got stuff through my local specialty shop.

  • I'm replacing everything for sanitary reasons number one, but also since the tubes and membranes in particular lose their effectiveness over time. It's not too expensive to do this.
